Welcome to StreamPDF ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the website located at https://streampdf.com (and associated subdomains) or our streaming viewer API/SDK (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
StreamPDF provides high-performance web-based PDF streaming, object-stream parsing, lossless rendering, and document verification services. We offer free tier access, paid tiered subscriptions, and developer API/SDK services.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to purchase subscriptions. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use StreamPDF to:
- Upload, stream, or process any documents that infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or legal rights.
- Transmit or process malware, malicious scripts, exploit payloads, or illegal material.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of our proprietary streaming or indexing algorithms.
- Circumvent or abuse rate limits, storage quotas, or cloud computation limits using automated scrapers or bots.
4. Quotas and Fair Usage
Usage of computational pipelines (including object decompression, rasterization, and pixel diff benchmarks) is subject to tier quotas. We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts exhibiting abusive behaviors that threaten infrastructure stability.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights to all PDF files and documents you upload to StreamPDF. We do not claim any copyright or ownership over your content. StreamPDF and its logos, code, algorithms, and visual designs remain the exclusive property of StreamPDF.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY CORRUPTED OR MALFORMED PDF SPECIFICATION.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL STREAMPDF BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, NOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO STREAMPDF IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
