How does StreamPDF achieve zero-wait streaming preview?+
Instead of forcing the browser to download the entire PDF before parsing, StreamPDF uses intelligent Byte-Range slicing and server-side object parsing. It prioritizes the pages currently in view, achieving sub-second first-screen rendering even for 1GB+ documents.
What is the difference between Lite and Pro tiers?+
All paid plans support direct Byte-Range requests — files up to 200MB on Tiny, 500MB on Lite, and 2GB on Pro — and include pixel-level fidelity. Lite is built for everyday reading with 20GB of storage and unlimited pages, while Pro adds 100GB of storage, ObjStm decompression, WebP/AVIF slice rendering, multi-engine fidelity comparison, white-label embedding, and priority support.
Can I embed the streaming viewer into my own website?+
Yes! We provide an Iframe integration and a lightweight Web SDK. Pro and Enterprise customers can fully white-label the viewer and remove all 'Powered by StreamPDF' badges.
Are my documents secure and private?+
All files are securely transmitted over HTTPS and stored with temporary pre-signed keys on encrypted cloud storage. Tasks and intermediate artifacts are automatically cleaned up based on your retention settings.
What happens if a document fails to render?+
Our multi-engine pipeline automatically falls back to native PDF rendering if any object parsing anomalies occur. You can also trigger an automated fidelity benchmark to inspect SSIM difference reports.
